The Puppy Program
The puppy program is designed for puppies 8-14 weeks of age. It is an intensive 5 week one-on-one, in-home training program that will teach you everything you need to know to raise a happy well adjusted dog. You know, the perfect dog you always wanted!
The program includes the four areas of a thorough socialization program:
- Human/Environmental Socialization-learning about different people and their environment (both in the home and out)
- Prevention-exercises to prevent all sorts of dog related issues.With your puppy think prevention instead of cure.
- Obedience-training a puppy is easy
- Interaction- learn the importance of/and how to properly play with your puppy.
Each week’s lesson will include:
- Review of previous lessons and discuss progress
- Problem solve
- Receive new instructions and set new goals
- Homework assignments
- Receive reading resource material
There is a lot to cover in a short period of time, but doing this work now-before your pup is 4 months old-will give you a lifetime of rewards! This program is in addition to, not instead of, a good puppy class. Your pup still needs to learn how to be with other dogs, and continue to develop his canine communication skills.
The lessons will be arranged around your schedule, so you have the time and energy to devote to this ultimately important step in your dogs development. The cost for the 5 week Puppy Program is $350.00.
